Marissa Anchia earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Mary’s University and a Master of Liberal Studies and Graduate Marketing Certification from Southern Methodist University. Her professional experience is a culmination of years in the corporate world with Mary Kay, Inc. and Texas Instruments, business trade association work with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and more recently as a public affairs consultant and community volunteer.
Marissa has represented corporate and public sector clients on public policy/advocacy, marketing/communications and social responsibility initiatives. She has developed several strategic campaigns and managed community relationships and investments. Marissa has held leadership roles on several non-profit boards including the City of Dallas Municipal Library, the State Fair of Texas, the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce and The Senior Source. She has enjoyed membership through the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce, Texas Association of Business, Hispanic 100 and the Legislative Ladies Club.
