Recruiting Coordinator
A graduate of American University in Washington DC, Nsemere earned her bachelor’s degree in Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies. Her early career started in nonprofit work with UNFPA & Catholic Relief Services where she gained knowledge of coordinating & implementing strategic plans in humanitarian aid. She also organized & led briefings with leaders on gender-based violence, security threats, educational needs & developmental factors in third-world countries. Her work with these organizations brought out a passion for serving others even more than before. On her return to the United States from Lesotho, Nsemere volunteered her time at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society where she helped organize different events.
With her combined experience in client relations, training, mentorship & personnel development, her career transitioned from the financial services industry to focus on workforce recruitment, team advancement & continuous business progression. In her recent role as HR Coordinator, she was responsible for rolling out new HR programs, training plans & recruiting procedures which have helped businesses kick start their operations. She also served at the American Red Cross on the HR Volunteer Services team where she supported all aspects of the HR cycle of the volunteer workforce.
Nsemere is excited to bring her wealth of experience & knowledge to Pena Search as a Recruiting Coordinator & to continue growing in her HR career with this great Search Firm. In her free time, Nsemere enjoys dancing, spending time with her family/friends, watching movies & working out.
